I started at Brunel St (Canning Town, London) as a Site Engineer and after a bit lessthan a year I started a 10 mil package RC frame and Groundworks as the sole SeniorSite Engineer.- ITP's and permits to enable works.-Making sure a high standard of Health and Safety is met on site.-Understand and explain all the drawings (drainage, utilities, road, paving,substructure, RC frame) to the workers on site.-Carry out as-built surveys producing and delivering as built files.-Support construction team with coordination of Temporary Works.-Setting out and supervise setting out of junior engineer.-Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.-Liaising with technical coordinators of main contractor using RFI’s when required.-Steel call off.-Planning the job two to three weeks ahead.- Site diaries, permits, toolbox talks and overseeing some of the document controlaspect

Working for the main contractor in a new student accommodation of 32 storeys, dealing with the Site Managers to raise and solve problems on site.- Setting Out gridlines and datum for the different subcontractors.- Quality Assurance of the Reinforcement before pouring slabs, stairs, foundations, liftshaft…- Monitoring high standard of health and safety is met on site.- Monitoring subcontractor jobs and as-built.

We were working at the surface, levelling and monitoring the surface such as streets and everybuilding possibly affected by the tunnel excavation.- Traverse with Starnet.- Levelling.- 3D monitoring using Leica and Topcon.- Monitoring with high frequency the areas affected by mining andgrouting.
