Logistics Management Specialist

Responsible for Force Development Directorate, Supply Chain Division for integrating emerging concepts and required capabilities into effective organizational design for supply chain and logistics units, with particular emphasis, including insight and recommendations on force structure (crisis-capable part of a military organization which describes how military personnel, and their weapons and equipment, are organized for the operations, functions, and tasks expected from them by the particular doctrine of the service or demanded by the environment of the conflict). Regularly coordinates with Headquarters of the Department of the Army, Office of the Chief of Army Reserves, Army National Guard Bureau, and Major Commands during Total Army Analysis (process used by the Army to determine the Army Force Structure position for the Program Objective Memorandum build), Force Management Reviews, Force Design Updates, Organizational Board Assessments, War Fighting Functions, and the Capability Board Assessment Process. Provide synchronization and collaboration with Transportation, Ordnance, Multifunctional divisions that directly impact supply chain units and functions. Conduct, assess, and/or leads research and analysis activities to evaluate customer supportability and escalation of identified problems to assess provide effective organizational elements. Assists in development and execution of strategies utilizing data such as demand plans, supply plans, projected future obligation requirements, obligations to and remaining obligation authority and performance metrics such as material and personnel availability.
