As an implementation engineer, I helped tens of customers enable, configure, and troubleshoot GitHub's SAST CodeQL.As a result of working so closely with CodeQL, I learned its Datalog-based logic-oriented query language as part of a larger effort to create queries for assessing a codebase's compliance to the ISO26262 standard.I also worked closely with development teams to understand security vulnerabilities and implement CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions across a variety of programming languages, like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, and Go.Over time, I developed tools, in Go and Python, to automate certain tasks for myself and customers.

My work on the team is broad. As a result, I often wear many "hats": software engineer, developer, technical support, trainer, cyber-security analyst, and system administrator. These are some of the projects I've done over my career here:- Designed, developed, maintained, and provided technical support for CFM3, a Python application for sharing encrypted Cyber-Threat Intelligence.- Provide technical support and customer outreach.- Assisted with the development of several other flagship products: LQM Toolset and Flexible Transform.- Lead the effort to incorporate modern software-engineering practices: -- Revamped the decade-old website -- Open Source Software on GitHub -- Decentralized version control (Subversion to GitLab) -- Continuous Integration (GitLab CI) -- Deployment servers (internal PyPi and RPM servers) -- Functional Programming

Although at an entry-level position, my work involved some Data Science. Using MSSQL, T-SQL and a variety of other technologies, I often develop immediate solutions for data analysis, including data cleansing, manipulation and presentation.* Utilize T-SQL/SQL for data analysis.* Develop C# applications and tools for simplifying database utilization.* Work cooperatively and effectively in a team-based environment.

I independently designed and developed J2SE-based desktop applications for financial trading and analysis.* Utilize Java to develop applications for stock trading.* Utilize OOP principles and techniques to improve long-term software maintainability and readability.* Utilize Threads and Networking to improve performance.

As the backend database developer and DBA, I worked in tandem with another Bradley student to develop an intranet website, which replaced their previous out-dated intranet.* Learned about structure and communication in a small team.* Participated in structured Requirements Gathering procedures.* Designed and implemented the intranet's backend database in MySQL.* Developed Perl CGI scripts to join Apache and MySQL.

I assist physics lab students by assisting the professor. This includes setting up the lab beforehand and answering questions.
