The Tech Bus is an initiative to bring the basics of computer coding and digital literacy to communities around the Rio Grande Valley. My job is to facilitate the bus to schools and companies that request it, and to deliver the lessons and instruction they might request. (more to this later as I am very new to this position)

At the International Museum of Art and Science I held the positions of Tour Guide, Educator, Curriculum Developer, Manager of Education Operations, and more recently Outreach Manger. I have been responsible for delivering tours, classes, presentations, workshops and engaging with the community in many levels. I learned how to manage a large group of employees and volunteers. My job at the museum allowed me to grow professionally in many levels. I grew as a museum professional, educator, and manager. I also learned greatly about non-profits and fundraising. One of the most important parts of a non-profit is to keep it funded and keeping its mission and vision alive. This was always the most important part of the job and kept the institution going forward. Although I have ended my employment at IMAS I will continue to support it and keep volunteering my time during its fundraising activities.

Making reservations for potential time share buyers to see a presentation in Las Vegas Nevada.

Direct the everyday operations of the adult day care center. Follow up on all clients daily needs, appointments, etc. Also making sure everyone had the coverage needed to stay in the facility, and the accommodations each client required. Under me were other workers, kitchen helpers, van drivers, and a registered nurse. I had to make sure their payroll was done on time, also took care to arrange their schedules according to work demand.
