The inventive process of making an object its not less meaningful than the process used to design a house or a city. As an architect I can use creativity on all range of scales.

Currently working on different project scales such as The Terrace Car Park, Hotels and single family houses. I am taking leadership on a skillful team and constantly focusing on the importance of the concept/idea that delivers timeless buildings with nowadays technology.

Experience achieved as project architect on the One Central project. A Fletcher Living development of 20 terraces houses located on the Eastframe of Christchurch. A high end project that will set new standards for the the city centre as a residential area. Also had involvement on the Metrosports building, special focus on the social hub and also some experiences on housing developments in Auckland .

Acquired solid experience in building consent documentation and construction/observation on commercial, housing and health care projects. The knowledge of the NZ Building Codes and current practices of construction had given me confidence to assume leadership and to be involved on any type/scale of project. The Unimed, Northfield Business Park and Avenue Health are recent jobs that I have been involved with.

Established in 2000, this firm of architects works in a variety of projects such as single family houses, apartment buildings and retail spaces. A well known office for creating high end modern design. In this office I acquired experience in developing design guidelines for subdivision plans and also part of all stages of the architecture process, concept stage, detailing and construction supervision. The founder of this office is also the author of Urb Concept, a urban design furniture brand made from portuguese natural stone. The collection includes pavements, benches, litter bins, bicycle racks and flower boxes for outdoors space use. As a collaborator of the Urb Concept brand, I had the opportunity to design and detail furniture pieces but also worked on large urban spaces for clients who wanted to buy the product and to have a design for the urban space. This gave the chance to design projects for Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Angola.

High School Teacher of “Materials and Technics of Plastic Expression” . This art subject, gave me the chance to test my leadership and communications skills to others. With my support and knowledge, the students were able to create pieces of art using their own creativity. Different materials such as wood, clay, iron, cork and paper were used.
