Mario A.R. Dantas is an Invited Full Professor at Graduate Program of Computer Science, at Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). In the academia area, Prof Dantas has PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton (UK), Visiting Professor at the University of Western Ontario (Canada- 2012) and Senior Visiting Researcher in Riken (Japan- 2017-2018). In the idustry, Dantas worked as Architecture and Communication System Analyst at Petrobras for 12 years, He is the author of hundred scientific articles, dozen of chapters in books and three books. He has advised numerous undergraduate, specialization, master and doctorate research works. He has acted as a consultant on various projects with industry in the areas of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), High Performance Computing, Data Intensive Scalable Computing (DISC), e-Health, HCI, Edge/Fog/Cluster/Grid/Cloud Computing, Context-Aware, Distributed and Parallel Storage Environments, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL). He won 31 national and international awards related to teaching and researching.
