21+ years experience performing various types of surveys of which include; Alta, topographic, hydrographic, Scanning, 1st order Precise Leveling, establishing control networks, as-builts and most types of construction and comercial surveys. I began my career as a chainman (using equipment like a theodolite, EDM and living up to the title of "chainman" by measuring most distances and setting points by hand with a chain) and quickly worked my way up the ranks to Instrument Man and then Survey Party Chief (survey titles have become a lot more confusing and fancy but I will stick to the original titles). I did this by taking advantage of company provided extensive Trimble GPS and Robotic training and also my desire to gain as much knowledge as I could in the use of modern technology that is being used to perform surveys today, providing profitability and quality.Long story short, I'm actively seeking a employment as a Chief (but will settle for something less IF it gets my foot in the door AND paid wages by experience). Also willing to relocate.
