SIM manager within the "Devices & Application Farm " group part of the CompanyMarketing Direction.I was completely responsible for technical and marketing management of the SIMproducts issued by H3G, and for the ones sold to MVNO.Main responsibilities and tasks:• SIM suppliers assessment and selection.• Defining the SIM electrical profiles (file system, applications, card configuration)• Designing the technical requirements for new features, services and for any application to be installed on board.• Managing the platforms' upgrades, according to the related standards (ETSI 3GPP; Global Platform, etc.)• Complete BAP (sample cards) testing and IoT testing (this also in cooperation with colleagues from the technical and quality control groups ).• Visiting and auditing on a regular basis the suppliers’ production sites, in order to evaluate their production processes, and their overall quality.

Network Direction – Terminal Enablers/Terminal, SIM & OTA applications group.Within the group I was responsible for solutions, services and technology evolution regarding the SIM/USIM platforms and 03.48 OTA architecture.In particular I was in charge of the feasibility and the technology impact of these solutions/services on the cards and on the network infrastructures. I was responsible for technical and functional specifications about (U)SIM electrical profile, and java card STK applets.I completely developed the (U)SIM certification processes for all the java card STK applications and for the IOT with the VF branded mobile devices.I had strong relationship with Vodafone Italy suppliers for any technical topic concerning the solutions, the services and applications running on the UICC.In all above activities, I constantly referred to the technical standards from ETSI/3GPP, Global Platform, SUN MS etc.
