My role at Byton is to build the test engineering team and define the test framework as required to meet a fast paced production schedule while at the same time assuring product quality. Responsibilities include working with hardware and software engineering grouips in the development of the UI/UX architecture from a testability standpoint using state of the art collaboration, requirements tracking and automated test tools.

Sr. Engineering Manager of Software Test in the Infotainment and Connected Car department. Responsible for system test and validation as well as test system framework development including integration with cutting edge tools in a collaborative managed solution.

Manage the testing of Infotainment System software which consists of multiple communication platforms including: CAN, MOST, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, BroadR-Reach, Wifi and Bluetooth. Test systems framework includes Android, Java and Jenkins on Linux platforms and is designed for automated smoke, reliability and stability testing. Responsibilities include selection and development of test systems (hardware / software), working with overseas development facilities and reliability lab and leading offshore team to incorporate ISO & TS specifications (16949, 26262, APQP, AEC-Q100, AEC-Q101 and AEC-Q200) into company processes.

Developed, mentored, managed and lead an engineering team responsible for developing the test architecture ranging from prototype design through engineering and final product test for MEMS / mixed signal inertial sensors. Fairchild acquired Jyve in November 2010 and I was one of the original team members.• Managed the selection, development, installation, buy off and validation of test systems from one-up desktop through high volume production for MEMS 6DOF inertial sensors. The test system included MEMS & ASIC wafer sort as well as final product test. Engineering versions of the test systems are located in San Jose and the Production level systems are in Taiwan.• Hands on development of ATE test software (SPEA C430MX, SE-Probe, Lab Windows CVI, LabView, TestStand, C/ C++, SQL Server, Python).• Designed, developed and implemented data tracking, storage, processing and mining for engineering and production test systems.• Cross functional management of R&D, Product Development and Systems Engineering resources to design solutions required for characterization, qualification, validation, functional, final package and wafer sort testing.• Accountable for multi-million dollar test equipment capital planning and procurement for engineering and production test systems. This included managing project schedules, deliverables and results pertaining to operations, installation / validation, 3rd party vendors, CM's and subcontractors.• Teamed with Product Development to translate requirements into test plans and strategies to ensure that the product implementation met the company’s requirements.• Managed the construction of new test labs and facilities. (Lab Windows CVI, Visual C++, Visual Basic).
