During my time at University I started a part time job at a company called Wise.My responsibilities at Wise were to make sure everything was set in place on the tables, such things like plates, glasses, and cutlery. My other duties were to serve the customers food and drinks and to make sure there were no mistakes. I also had to do bar work when needed.I enjoyed this role as it helped me to make my planning and communication skills better because I was always friendly and organised to when and who I had to serve food and drinks to.

I was offered an internship for six months and in this roll I conducted administrative duties ie answering phones, making appointments, conducting spreadsheets, filing and helping out with recruitment; looking up CV’s and calling up potential employees. This has given me a new understanding of independence and self-motivation that school or college has not taught me. At the end of the three month trial period, they offered me the recruitment job for the remaining three months before I attended Bournemouth University.
