CurrentMARIO Education is a K-12 ed-tech company whose mission is to enhance students’ preparedness and effectiveness to become lifelong, self-directed learners. We apply the most effective, current, research-supported, and evidence-based discoveries in the science of learning and well-being. MARIO Education applies these techniques, through proprietary software (MARIO for Me) and professional development training. Our approach enables effective, personalized one-to-one student-teacher learning conversations. These scaffolded conversations enable teachers to connect with and empower students to learn about themselves, and improve their own social and emotional health and academic outcomes. In addition, MARIO Education provides robust tools that monitor school-wide well-being and performance, promote student self-discovery, and optimize teacher workflow. Our schools employ MARIO in multiple areas with their schools: as a key pastoral care/advisory class tool, a school safety and counseling tool to prioritize interventions, a high-impact, evidence-based special education/MTSS intervention, and a world-class professional development library.NASEN's Support for Learning Journal published a 6-year retrospective study on our unique pedagogical approach to one-to-one learning conversations in 2022. World-renowned UDL expert Dr. Katie Novak ranked the approach's efficacy in the top 5% of all educational interventions.
