I am the senior Citrix engineer managing our environment. I am responsible for the Citrix and Microsoft infrastructures.This includes patching and maintaining the XenServer 6 envornment, the XenDesktop 5.6, Provisioning Server 6.1 and XenApp 6.5 environments as well in addition I work on printers, desktop PC’s and Windows servers running Windows Server 2008R2 and Windows Server 2003.

Remote support for a wide variety of Citrix products including XenServer, XenApp, XenDekstop, Single Sign On (Password Manager), Provisioning Server, Citrix Profile Manager, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Profile Management, Terminal Services, VMWare, Appsense, Netapp and Patch Management using VMWare vCenter Protect Essentials(Shavlik). I completley manage some customer environments remotely as well.

At the Naval Information Technical Center, Port Hueneme CA I independently managed Citrix Presentation Server Suite 4.0 for all NBVC Pt Hueneme locations. I am responsible for the build, maintenance and administration of 2 Active Directory domains, and 2 Citrix server farms at Port Hueneme NBVC.My primary responsibility is to ensure a secure and reliable enterprise hosting environment at NITC.I enforce adherence to application information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all NAVFAC enterprise applications and services hosted at NITC.Based on my expertise, I am consulted on the development of policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability rand accessibility to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data, including password complexity requirements, account naming convention, server naming convention and 2 factor authentication.I am responsible for documentation of our network infrastructures including, physical server location, server IP configuration, network topology, Active Directory configuration, Citrix installation including but not limited to data store configuration, account creation/maintenance for service level accounts Additional duties, I manage Microsoft Terminal Server Licensing and Citrix licensing in both the eDMZ and the B3COI as both types of licenses require dedicated servers and are required in order for our applications to be accessed by the user communities.As the only Citrix administrator onsite, all Citrix installations, configurations, patching and troubleshooting are my sole responsibility.As the ONLY Citrix Administrator at Port Hueneme I built both the eDMZ and B3COI environments according to DISA security guidelines (STIGS).
