Friendly basketball match between a US-team headed by Magic Johnson and a selection of the best Swiss players. Main sponsors were the Mister Minit global franchise and the Manor department stores. Three hours of live coverage on main Swiss TV channel TSR. Temporary grandstands had to be built up inside one of the halls of Palexpo because no other arena in Switzerland had capacity fro 6500 live audience. The Swiss media hailed the event as as the best sports happening of the year. Magic Johnson's team won.

I managed my own career as a professional racing driver, including all related commercial activities. I competed in Formula 3, Formula 3000, World Sportscar Championship, IMSA in the USA and I qualified for the Superlicence (Formula 1).

At age 21, surprised the establishment by obtaining government dispensation to organise a Grand Prix of karting through the streets of conservative Geneva, two years in a row. Set new standards for a karting event in a major city.
