A strategic and hard working individual who leads by example and takes immense satisfaction seeing others grow, especially where I have contributed in some way to their success. Whichever job I have performed, I have always looked at ways of innovating, improving processes and bringing other people at all levels along the journey.I am experienced in dealing with Private and Public sector organisations as well as engaging with all personas from those on the ground to CEOs. I thrive on customer interaction in order to fully understand the issues being faced and evaluate opportunities to achieve common goals through system development, or process improvement. I believe in having the ability to think outside the box (and also the theory that there is no box) helps achieve the best possible outcome. Being able to understand the technical side of a business and translate where necessary into non-technical language (and vice-versa), ensures that all stakeholders are kept fully updated and more importantly understand what is required to make the project a success. I enjoy working in teams whilst passing on my knowledge to other people and watching them grow as individuals. I like being challenged by colleagues and in a strange way I appreciate it more when they are right and have taught me something. I am also actively take part in mentorship programs.One of the most important lessons I have learned in my career so far, is that listening and genuinely appreciating another person's viewpoint, gets you further in any discussion and closer to a resolution than being closed off to their opinion. In addition you may actually change your viewpoint and learn something new.
