My wife Isabel and I founded Heaven Sent Gaming, a multimedia production studio. I've written for The Wall Street Journal, Tokyo Review, Remezcla, Tokyo Weekender, Quartz, and others. Over the years, our work and my writing have been featured in a variety of local, national, and international publications, including the Albuquerque Journal, Albuquerque the Magazine, Spectrum Magazine, KRQE, and others. It has also been cited by institutions such as the International Music Summit's Industry Insider, Mashed, Pew Charitable Trusts, South by Southwest, and universities like the Arizona State University, University of British Columbia, University of New Mexico, and University of Washington, among others.I have nearly two decades of experience in the computer science field, with both hardware and software development under my belt, and over a decade of professional experience in arts, entertainment, and media. While my formal background is in computer science and entertainment, I’ve been fortunate to gain recognition in fields such as cultural studies and linguistics, thanks to my work on the New Mexico Cultural Encyclopedia and Lexicon, as well as theology and religion through a personal Bible translation project. I've even dabbled in astrophysics through science-related projects and application of computer hardware.I’m a Christian (non-denominational), a proud New Mexican (Burqueño), a gamer (across Nintendo, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox), a musician (specializing in electronic, country, and Christian music), and a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. I also like to think of myself as a bit of a goofball who enjoys putting my heart into everything I create. Even during difficult times, including a period of homelessness, I’ve been blessed by God's love and provision, keeping my wife and me safe.

The tasks for a Dillard’s Sales Associate included stocking, moving freight, and processing both sales and returns. Really great coworkers. The department managers, including my own, were extremely efficient and responsible leaders.However, one of the upper managers was condescending during incidents, blatantly ignoring employee safety and appeals. That individual’s ineffective leadership led to a handful of employees, including myself, to quit. A few of the example incidents; (1) I saw several employees getting write-ups after they were micromanaged via security cameras without any verbal warnings, (2) an incident where a nearby employee was hit with pepper spray by a thief but none of the employees were allowed to leave even when they complained of breathing issues, (3) a thief threatened me with a handgun. -

They had helped raise me throughout high school, and they were starting to show early signs of dementia. No one else, up until that point, in the family was stepping up. So I dropped out of college to begin taking care of them. My grandparents suffered through dementia. Shaped a lot of the concepts of responsibility, placing an importance on family, the fleetingness of moments and even one's intelligence, also taught me about accepting mortality.Isabel and I continued studies privately, but put my grandparents health and safety as our top priority.
