The crux of my role was leading QA resources in New Product Innovation for cloud solutions. I contributed to the product requirement and vision, and the design and architecture of the product. I designed the Testing Strategy for the new products, estimated resource needs, and identified risks and setup mitigation plans. I altered the QA processes to adapt to the aggressive release schedules and dynamic nature of cloud products, a stark transition from the familiar yearly release schedule to an aggressive bi-weekly release schedule in some instances. I achieved the delivery of high quality products with fewer than typical human resources by focusing on goal refinement and process optimization. Once development was complete, I managed the roll-out and delivery of the products a task that necessitated overseeing operations in several departments, giving the final approval to deliver the product, and the oversight of product deployment in the production environment. Throughout the whole process, I interfaced and represented R&D with customer support, marketing, product managers, sales, pilot groups, and very often with customers directly.
