This 'pattern-recognition' has taught me that great teams are designed, not assembled. Whether it's our leaders, friends, teammates, or significant others, we need to recognize people based on their character, values and chemistry. Everything else is an illusion.As the General Manager of a software start-up in the mid-90s, I learned how NOT to run a software company. Walking in the those shoes for a few years, gave me an intimate appreciation for the challenges faced by agents of change, entrepreneurs and under-dogs.I was born and raised in Montreal and graduated from McGill University with a Major in Organizational Psychology. I'm a very lucky husband and father who gets to work with his kids on a daily basis.
