CINEMATOGRAPHY: The demo reel speaks louder than words in this area, but I partner with Directors & Producers to bring visual language--and style--to their strong concept or story. On the practical side, I can manage production crews & budgets, work in studios or problem-solve on location, assemble lighting packages & oversee the camera and G&E departments. I have experience in everything from directing camera cars, to operating handheld fight scenes, to 40' techno cranes (one time, tracking an Olympic athlete swimming freestyle just a few weeks before he won 2 Golds in Paris). I took my earlier experiences in life, such as creative writing, photography, design, & leadership, & married them into filmmaking & visual storytelling for brands & organizations. I thrive on creativity & collaboration & on finishing well! I love real people stories, scripted or unscripted, & brand mythologies.
