Mission: To change people's lives from the inside out by raising their self-esteem. And by raising their self-esteem, it is our goal that people will live more consciously, become self-accepting, self-assertive, live with purpose, responsibility and integrity. We do this by delivering self-esteem educational programs in group-settings which 1) Defines what self-esteem is, 2) Educates people on why self-esteem matters, and teach people how to build self-esteem through essential skill development, and 3) support and education toward making healthy life choices. For 29 years, Self Esteem Boston has assisted over 100,000 low-income individuals to build their self-esteem and essential life skills, so they can take the necessary steps to become self-reliant and reach their true potential. Self Esteem Boston trains staff and offers direct service programming in the following:• Skills for Success: 48-week self-esteem education and life-skills curriculum for women in shelters and transitional recovery programs in Skills for Building Confidence, Skills for Self-Improvement and Skills for Responsible Relationships.• You're Worth It, builds client skills and confidence to foster a successful transition from transitional programs, to employment and education/training programs; • Skills for Recovery Success addresses the specific needs identified by clients in recovery, using the 4 SAVI learning styles (Somatic, Auditory, Visual and Intellectual).• Keeping it Real: the first Self-Esteem, Nutrition, Wellness Program for Women and Families in Recovery, educates clients about the relationship between self-esteem, physical health and diet in relation to the recovery process. • Continuing education programs to build the skills of professionals who work with at-risk clients.For information on how Self Esteem Boston can help your organization, email us at empowermail@selfesteemboston.com
