Having recently completed roles in two Horizon Europe projects (iSAGE and Organic+) I am delighted to be affiliated with the Animal Husbandry Lab, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and to be an honorary Research Fellow with Coventry University.As an independent researcher, available for contracts, I am now focussing on botanical animal health and welfare as the key to improving agrobiodiversity and farm health. We can use plants in layers in an animals environment, providing a wide choice of diet, the opportunity to self medicate and improving welfare. This approach, broadly silvopastoral, has multiple ancillary environmental benefits through the provision of habitat and improvements to soil health and water quality.My previous research experience includes agroecological ,organic and ethnobotanical/ ethnoveterinary projects, agroforestry, work with the dairy, dairy goat and deer industries and sustainability analysis.I am known for delivery of projects in time and in full.
