Project managed and won the £400m contract to design and supply the new biometric UK passport. Business transformation and IT system implementation (via government procurement / tender process) for case management approach, methods and IT tools - identified and addressed a major issue with the existing IT capability and that required to transform the approach to accelerate case investigation, particularly for electronic rather than paper-based case material. Following detailed process analysis, identified the future ways of working for the SFO. Managed a robust government procurement process that was resilient to challenge and gave a clear outcome for preferred supplier.

Developed and delivered a change capability both within the core project and across the business and Trades Unions and built team to deliver the business implementation of the SAP system – process development, impact of change, organisational change, training and communications etc. for 7000 employees. Scope included SAP activity management, asset lifecycle maintenance, business planning and HR module Employee/Manager Self Service. Additionally, defined the programme delivery roadmap for the design, build and implementation phases and provided support and coaching for the programme director and workstream leads (employees) in the development of the programme plan, approach and methodology and the definition of workstream deliverables for £20m programme and 96 staff.

Programme Manager for the introduction of the ACA Chartered Accountancy qualification - syllabus re-design, qualification restructuring, IT change. Established a programme for the Education Faculty to develop the new Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA). Structured and planned the £10m programme, defined the implementation roadmap, established delivery team and governance, and trained Institute staff on project management tools and techniques, stakeholder management.

Change Management followed by Solutions Delivery management for IFRS implementation programme. Restructured programme following requirements definition phase, defined implementation roadmap, and managed the Design, Build, Test and Implementation Teams (direct responsibility for 30 heads, £4m budget) to time and budget, working closely with the outsourced offshore IT delivery team. Designed the Change Management, Training and Communication strategy and approach. Developed the Testing Strategy and Approach & delivered User Acceptance Testing.
