I have 3 years of experience as an aviation ordnance technician. As an aviation ordnance technician my duties and responsibilities are to inspect, maintain and repair armament equipment and systems. I also performed a variety of duties and tasks such as inspecting ammunition, testing aircraft systems, performing preventive maintenance and effecting repairs, loading ammunition and arming/dearming aircraft. As an aviation ordnance technician I had to acquire qualifications to drive a bomb loader forklift, two types of aircraft towing vehicles, and equipment used to maintain the aircraft. I was also required to lift and move heavy equipment.
