I’m a dynamic American-Portuguese visual artist and art professional, holding an MFA from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, a BA from Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa, and I was previously a PhD candidate at the University of the Arts London. My international career in the visual arts has spanned various roles, from overseeing operations and coordinating exhibition installs to designing exhibitions across commercial galleries, art fairs, nonprofit organizations, and museums.My strengths include strategic planning, project management, and fostering collaboration, along building strong relationships. SF NO. 77, Church Configured is a site-specific installation and evolution of Church a ten part series of works that blind-embossed and painted over a collection of 200 year old prints of the plans for the Abbey Church of St. Albans, UK. The interaction of the prints and the wall is facilitated by the 2021 Sherwin Williams color forecast, painted into shapes that echo the laser cut wooden frames of Amplification. The inclusion of name-brand paint reflects a space making process steeped in consumerism. while the prints reflect an older, more sacred way of building. Church Configured explores how our perceptions of the passing of time are intimately connected to our interactions with art and architecture. -
