Mario was born in Turks and Caicos Islands and spent his childhood in a small village near Stuttgart, Germany, before moving to Toronto, Canada at the age of 16. He’s always had a tremendous drive to push the limits in athletics, exploration and anything else he puts his mind to.An adventurer at heart, Mario likes to take himself to his physical and emotional limits. His first adventure kicked off when he walked from Toronto to Montreal in 14 days to prepare for the expedition of a lifetime. He spent the next 2+ years walking 12,000 kilometres across the entire continent of Africa, from Cape Town in the south to Cairo in the north. After his walk Mario decided to bike across Canada from Vancouver Island to St. John’s Newfoundland, solo and unsupported taking him 2 months to complete. Mario’s stories are gripping and thought-provoking as he learns about humanity and overcoming fear.
