Primarily responsible for structuring, modeling, underwriting, negotiating and closing of a variety of multi-family 9% and 4% LIHTC developments. Since joining Housing Trust Group in 2015, HTG has been the #1 developer of affordable housing in the state of Florida. Responsible for closing 30 LIHTC transactions, totaling over 3,000 units, in excess of $600M of total development cost throughout the state of Florida.

• Responsible for compiling, consolidating and presenting business segment financial results and variances to executive management team as part of corporate-wide monthly reforecasting, using GAAP principles to review and analyze financial statements and compare budget vs. actuals. • Direct the annual corporate budgeting process which includes leasing, capital expenditures, development, construction, property and land management units in addition to the full REIT operations.• Directed task force responsible for implementing new budgeting software and integrating it with the general ledger accounting package as well as creating the process flow between the operations, financial planning & analysis and accounting departments.• Created entire suite of corporate reporting including operating cash flow, occupancy, capital expenditures, leasing activity, sources and uses of funds, and business segment analysis reports.

• Led full range of debt raising activities including negotiating loan terms and reviewing legal documents.• Acted as primary contact person for major lenders including both national and local banks as well as alternative investment companies.• Partner with acquisitions, construction, accounting and executive management to deploy resources for development and construction projects, assessing each in terms of profitability and potential risk.• Created a consolidated cash flow pro forma with over twenty projects, corporate liabilities, overhead and affiliated entity net cash flows. • Responsible for modeling and performing sensitivity analyses for each project and presenting the results to the principals in order to finalize acquisition decisions.• Developed comprehensive financial analysis models to underwrite, structure, negotiate and close over twenty real estate development loans totaling over $500 million, and then manage that portfolio.• Developed company process for maximizing asset values through the appraisal process.
