Those solutions were related to Customer Portals, Supplier Portals, and ERP Integrations such as SAP. All these implied reductions of up to 40% in time dedicated to servicing suppliers, reconciling invoices and payments, among other savings. -
Head Of ProductIconstruye Oct 2014 - Aug 2016• Iconstruye needed a new electronic invoicing platform to excel the competition in a 14-month window. I oversaw the project and development team to perform this requirement using Scrum. Together, we successfully implemented more than 8 new invoicing associated products, which led to an increase in our clients by 30% in the last quarter of 2015.• Several clients needed a new product that would help them to approve or reject electronic invoices. I was given a development team and the responsibility for achieving this new product within 2 months. I led the design and development of a new business rule engine for electronic invoicing, allowing the automatization of approval or rejection over more than 200.000 electronic invoices per month.• Most projects were behind schedule due to the lack of project methodology in the company. Because of that, I made a project normalization proposal to the general manager and during a period of 6 months I helped project managers to have a better understanding of what was expected from them. This led to an increase in transparency of each project situation and a better visibility of the development team capacity. As a result of this, a PMO was introduced to the organization. -
Senior Project ManagerEntel Pcs Dec 2011 - Sep 2014Las Condes, Santiago• In 2013, government regulations demanded that within the next 12 months, every telecommunication company in Chile had to release 4G (LTE) to customers. I was responsible to lead the implementation of the new data plans and design technical customer support for it. My team successfully met the release date, and within the first week we activated more than 10,000 clients. Nowadays, there are more than 8 million customers using those data plans.• Due to the new data plans, the company decided to release a new tv service, which will not reduce customer data when used. I managed this project creating new alliances with several tv media providers, encoding their tv signal into a digital broadcast. This project allowed the company to have a more competitive service catalog of value-added services (vas) than the competition. It was a strategic project. -

Oct 2009 - May 2011• Effectively managed the implementation of a new loyalty program software, for all credit card purchases in Chile, creating a monthly income for Nexus of over $60,000 USD for each bank participating in the program. The project’s budget was approximately $1 Million USD.• Designed and managed as planned a Delivery Call Center project, which allowed Nexus to differentiate from its competition, offering a credit card delivery time less than 24hrs to the client’s house, for any new credit card printed.• Successfully implemented 3 new credit card transaction types in Chile, in a credit market of more than 14 million habitants. These transactions will imply a 10% increase in all credit card purchases.

Process EngineerBancoestado Oct 2007 - Sep 2009• Design of the new corporate web site for company clients at BancoEstado. With the improvements I made on this site, it allowed the bank to overtake the competitions’ sites, making it a better user experience for its clients. The marketing department congratulated me on this job.• Design of an SMS sending process to clients, offering promotional loans and credit cards pre-approved. It has been estimated that this project represented a 1.5% increase of short term loans for the bank. The project was successful due to my design and the solution flexibility.• Design elements of the integration process for the new Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) bought by the bank, which allow a better handling of the client’s information and the possibility to perform data mining as well. My participation was key to completing this project on time. -
ConsultantPlus Consulting Jun 2007 - Sep 2007• Creation of the functional requirement specification on time, for a new contactless system in an urban train service, joining the cities of Santiago and Rancagua. The difficulty of gathering basic information on this project in such a short period of time made its completion a significant achievement. -
Project ExecutiveTelefonica Chile Apr 2005 - May 2007• A Master thesis was completed with the design of the new technical assistance platform for technicians installing new services. The solution considered the use of a wireless system by the technicians, in order to personally attend to issues as they arise. This thesis was the basis of a number of new improvements to the platform and visibility of the process.• Successfully automatized a summary control report, including all key indicators of installation for the company’s products and services. These reports were sent to the Latin America headquarters in Brazil and also to the senior level staff in Chile.
