About Mario Servin

I am the AIT Manager for the ARSAT SG1 satellite, a member of the SmallGEO family of satellites from GSATCOM. I worked eight years in Physics research (PhD), and twenty-seven years in technological companies. My extensive experience includes Software development, Radar signal processing, SAR processing, Spacecraft Thermal Control, Radiation Shielding Analysis, and Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) of satellites. As a Radar Engineer, designed, implemented and also improved some Radar signal processing algorithms. As a Spacecraft Thermal Control Engineer, I managed the Thermal Control Subsystem of ARSAT-2 satellite, launched in September 2015, and the SAOCOM 1A satellite launched in October 2018. At the Nuclear Engineering Department of INVAP as Radiation Shielding Engineer, I performed calculations and analysis of radiation transport in projects that involve various radiation environments and sources, including the impact of Space radiation in all-electric propulsion satellites with extended Orbit Raising times.

Montecarlo simulations of the antenna pattern were executed to obtain the impact of each error source in the pointing of the pattern, The results accomplished with the provided allocation for these errors.Quantization Noise and QSNR reassessment: A novel approach to his topic allowed to find analytic method to obtain the QSNR for any digitalization/compression method provided that the probability density function of the input signal is known.
