About Mario Van Vliet

Mario van Vliet is Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Radboud University, Chair of the Supervisory Board of JINC and (interim) Chair of The Amsterdam Sinfonietta Fonds. Mario holds a professor chair in Information Technology Management at the VU University Amsterdam. He has a long tenure as CEO and COO in the professional services industry. He is the former Chief Operating Officer of Deloitte's Global Consulting Business, has served in Deloitte's global governance bodies and as Board member of an international insurance company. He holds an PhD in Operations Research and has more than 25 years experience in Management Consulting, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and IT systems. Before joining Deloitte, Mario was employed by Capgemini Consulting (previously Ernst&Young Consulting) as the CEO of Capgemini Consulting NL. Mario started his career at the Royal Dutch Shell Group in the area of management of IT systems and logistics.
