The traineeship helps to develop me as an connective factor between the departments and personally as a professional individual.For my first assignment I'm conducting a measuring campaign for the N2O emissions, which contribute to the greenhouse gasses. I wanted to know, why is formed, and how can prevent this formation?I've helped to facilitate the sensors placements.Currently the assignment is data-processing stage, and I'm documenting the research. Here, I had to assess the current situation from the plant itself and the fat treatment knowledge at Evides. This was followed by a literature study, interviewing experts in the field, and presented the fat removal optimization for my supervisor. An experimental approach was made, including protocols and safety aspects. I conducted the laboratory experiments, and presented adjusted the protocols to my supervisor. The results and recommendations were reported, and presented for the company personnel. From my research results, improvements to the operational costs and increase fat removal were formulated. The acquired research and laboratory protocols will be used to guide future interns.I have used the online data from Process Integration software (PI-Vision) to generate graphs from online equipment measurements, and to present them in a vivid manner. In addition, I’ve used flowcharts to indicate bottlenecks and possible optimizations for the current plant situation. Show less
