Provide leadership for the Kentucky Nutrition Education Program (KYNEP) that encompasses two separate USDA programs, The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP- Ed). Provide oversight of administrative and programmatic activities including design, implementation, evaluation, marketing and reporting. Develop, implement, and monitor administrative budget and prepare materials for and participate in university, state and federal audits. Serve as a connector with statewide organizations and partners in food systems.

Assisted in the creation of the strategic plan for the region which was adopted by the advisory council on September 12, 2014. Continued to work in the region to support entrepreneurial programs, individual county strategic planning, and youth community development projects in collaboration with local UK Cooperative Extension Agents.
