About Marisa Bush

My interests are medicine, writing, music, technology, and history. I am a nuclear medicine and MRI technologist and writer. I taught health science in high schools for five years and continue to teach CPR, First Aid and other classes occasionally. I also write when I can and currently I’m developing a community clothes closet. I have well over 30 years of experience in healthcare, starting as a pharmacy technician in high school and college, as a nuclear medicine technologist for 20 years, and as a high school health science teacher for five years before returning to the clinical setting. Additionally, over the years I have worked part-time in small home-based businesses including cosmetic sales, mystery shopping, antique and collectible sales, genealogy record and general audio transcription, website development, and writing. Much of my writing has been for websites I have developed about television and country music history, and particularly, one about Hee Haw. In my "spare" time I like to sing in churches, karaoke, and wherever I get an opportunity. I brought the department up to expectations and updated all the policies and procedures so that the physician would be ready to have the department accredited.
