Marisa Gaska, a native of San Jose, California, currently serves as an KRATOS IT/Business Administrator. She is also the Owner of G&M Shields.Tech, a company committed to creating and distributing Personal Protective Equipment. Raised by migrant farm workers, she would go on to become not only a successful businesswoman, but most importantly, a mother, wife, sister, and community leader. While establishing these titles, both professional and personal, Marisa, an advocate for higher learning, began honing her skills in mathematics and technology. This would eventually allow her to possess a wealth of knowledge in the two areas, which would eventually lead to her journey in business ownership. As the nation's current pandemic took over, she saw the need for improved personal protective equipment for Frontline Workers. Utilizing her extensive knowledge, and with the idea being to help these workers and others, Marisa began sewing reusable face masks, while also starting the process of encouraging others to stay safe by following the advice of health officials. As her work began making an impact, she started generating 3D face shields to both sell and donate to members of her community. This opened the door for her to create G&M Shields.Tech, which has focused its mission on developing high quality face shields made from USA derived products that have the ability to keep countless safe throughout the pandemic. A local Personal Protective Equipment business, her company strives to influence the community to stay safe, not only for themselves and their families, but also for those outside of their home who care just as much for their health and well being. Keeping this in mind, her company works diligently to inspire others to mask up and shield themselves!
