My community-based research, advocacy and teaching focuses on urban and regional policy questions into community development, housing, mobilities and social movements. My primary research inquiry examines how identity and emotions shapes peoples’ urban spatial and service needs.

· Coded and categorized qualitative responses of pilot survey data to identify foods uniformly considered empowering or disempowering
