Through her project, girls and women learn how to use mobile technology to learn new skills, new languages, find educative information, sell their products online, and communicate with the world. Sheva was nominated by the UN Equals Awards as one of the top 15 projects in the world working on Gender Equality in the Digital Age. Prior to technology workshops, through her program Sheva: The Giving Cycle, she was providing girls and women sanitary pads and menstruation workshops to girls in rural areas of Guatemala so they would not miss school.
