Listening and learning are my top priorities because those are the skills required to solve - and prevent - most problems. I pride myself on being able to communicate an aggregate of perspectives, as well as the solutions I see as the best-fit based on more than 20 years in the Contract Furniture Industry, including 10 years in Corporate Learning & Development. I am not afraid to take on challenges, learn new skills, or in general just put myself out there in order to grow and succeed, while consistently being a calm force that makes sure the job gets done.My strongest relationships are built on trust, reliability, and strong communication across departments and borders. I use my experience having lived and worked abroad to 'think global, act local', knowing that the same goals can be achieved in different ways depending on skill sets, resources and cultural practices.I am passionate about all levels of education, taking time outside of work to be involved in local schools as well as my collegiate alma mater. The ultimate reward is being able to positively impact the experiences of students and create opportunities for development and growth.
