Stewarding a growing organization through internal and external shifts.* Led team in building a best-in-class immersive virtual summer program during the Covid-19 pandemic for 120 students and 30 staff, followed by a safe return to in-person operation in 2022 via a context-appropriate public health approach resulting in zero outbreaks.* Managed organizational participation in a Title IX process, including development of policies, deployment of first-ever community-wide survey, and highly sensitive multi-stakeholder communications.* Secured funding from multiple public and private grantmakers new to the organization; grew organizational reserves from $60k to $500k.

Gradually shifted gender balance from 25% girls in 2008 to 40% girls and non-binary students in 2016 (and to 50% in 2020).* Formalized Board responsibilities and re-energized Board of Directors; fostered collaborative working relationships with Board members.* Developed and implemented systems for recruitment, retention, and mentorship of program staff.

The Summer Mathematics Programs Consortium is a national peer network which supports the ecosystem of math enrichment programs.* Conceived, developed, and executed 3-day workshops in 2019, 2022, and 2023 (which have become an annual conference). These workshops have been attended by 100+ participants representing 40 math & science summer programs.* Trained peers in topics including: STEM enrichment through an equity lens; organizational structure, leadership, and transition; fundraising; and building relationships with colleges and universities.* Facilitated continued year-round interorganizational communication and cross-program mentorship through a combination of written, virtual, and in-person formats.* Built community through a grassroots, consensus-based approach in order to create sustainable systems and meaningful relationships.
