Since 2022 I am the coordinator of the OPZuid 2021-2027 program. I’m part of the European programs team where we govern different European funding programs (such as OPZuid, Interreg and JTF). In 2021 I was part of the regional grants team and I was responsible for provincial grant calls such as setting up the rules for participation and implementing the complete call program.

Advising researchers on funding opportunities (match research with calls). Mapping out the research within the department of Innovation Sciences and Industrial Engineering. Gain in-depth knowledge of departmental research themes. Guiding researchers through the grant application processes (from idea to project) and provide writing assistance: makings sure (legal) conditions are met, check language, help with consortium building, coordinate application process, writing non-scientific paragraphs (e.g. data management). Being a linking pin internally and externally: organise workshops for researchers to interact with each other, liaising with the different departments/ strategic area's of the TU/e and liaising with funding agencies and future project partners. Attending matchmaking and network events. Being an active member of the Research Support Network of the TU/e.Involved in setting-up a new departmental grants office (mapping out and streamlining processes/tasks). Having a special responsibility for the research theme "sustainability": strategically (long term) trying to increase the number of successful proposals within this research theme. Grant projects: H2020, NWO, ERA-NET, RVO, Interreg, Urban Innovative Actions, Eurostars and many more.

Together with fellow HYPE members I origanised several meetings/ workshops to broaden my knowlegde about the European Union and to advanced my personal skills. During the intro week we stayed in Brussels and visited several European institutions.

Advising project leaders on the financing of future projects (e.g. present them with grant opportunities, explaining regulations) and running grant projects (legal conditions, amendments, planning & control). Maintaining and initiating contact with important funding agencies and possible project partners (e.g. Brainport, Stimulus, Province of North-Brabant). Being a linking pin internally (matching people to form a better project idea) and externally (connecting project leaders to possible project partners). Together with the VNG (International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities) and the Municipality of Nieuwegein I set up a successful network for municipal (grants) advisors. Performing the same activities for the Municipality of Best (50% of my time).Successful grant applications: RVO (SDE+), A+O fund, ZonMW, Province North-Brabant, Ministries SZW, OCW, VWS. Involvement in running projects/ other projects: Brainport Avenue, FES, OP-Zuid (ERDF), ESF, Ministry IenM and many more.

Responsible for managing grant projects. Advising project leaders, making forecasts, handling CA negotiations, preparing and guiding reports/audits. Responsible for final grant reports. Being a source of information for my collegues (answering compliance questions, disseminating knowlegde by giving presentations). Analyzing and processing wills, powers of attorney and certificates of inheritance. On the basis of these documents, I undertook various administrative actions and I conducted correspondence with relatives. Responsible for training new colleagues.
