The project included the restoration and revitalization of the main hall, and a variety of building renovations including new office suites, amenity spaces, and new lobbies at the 4th and 5th street entrances. Construction also included upgrades of the existing mechanical and electrical systems to service 29 new restaurant tenants. Great consideration was taken to preserve and protect the architectural details and character throughout design and into construction as the Bourse is listed on our Nation’s Historic Register originally serving as America’s first commodities exchange market from the 1890’s into the 1960’s. Merion Mercy Academy, Living and Learning CenterMerion Station, PennsylvaniaCost $10.9M, completed 2017.I was the Construction PM for a new 23,000SF two-story addition and renovation project. The new construction and extensive upgrades to the school were completed in 15 months. The biggest challenge was keeping construction activities on schedule while school remained in session. Efforts to control noise, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a safe site between workers, students, and employees played a vital part in the successful completion of the project.

I served as Engineering Project Designer and Manager supporting design, programming, planning, and project management efforts both internally and globally within the chemical and metal refining industry exercising basic knowledge of pgm catalysts and chemicals. Locally I engineered prototypes for new filtration equipment to maximize the efficiency of the separation efforts. I was also the lead designer for a 12,000 SF three-story building housing new refining processes. The environment involved heavy use of hazardous chemicals so sensitivity to material selection and attention to occupant health and safety was imperative.

Designer for this 31,00 SF project located on the campus of the Philadelphia Police Academy. I performed planning services, survey, & construction documentation for this critical response facility that trains city and regional law enforcement agencies in SWAT, bomb disposal, & K-9 operations. BD Diagnostics, Hospital Lab of the FutureSparks, MDI served as the Arch. Designer & LEED Workshop Facilitator for this project. I led & orchestrated two all-day workshops with building managers, operators, employees, & owners in an effort to fully understand how the building is performing regarding heating & cooling, water usage, wastes and by-products, impact on micro-environment, utilities, etc. Amtrak, Maintenance of Way (MOW)Rensselaer, NYI served as the Arch.
