Construction also included upgrades of the existing mechanical and electrical systems to service 29 new restaurant tenants. Great consideration was taken to preserve and protect the architectural details and character throughout design and into construction as the Bourse is listed on our Nation’s Historic Register originally serving as America’s first commodities exchange market from the 1890’s into the 1960’s. Merion Mercy Academy, Living and Learning CenterMerion Station, PennsylvaniaCost $10.9M, completed 2017.I was the Construction PM for a new 23,000SF two-story addition and renovation project. The new construction and extensive upgrades to the school were completed in 15 months. The biggest challenge was keeping construction activities on schedule while school remained in session. Efforts to control noise, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a safe site between workers, students, and employees played a vital part in the successful completion of the project.
