• Responsible for all US business personal property tax compliance, including value notices and timely payment of property tax bills, applying for abatements, reconciliation of property tax related general ledger accounts, research, audit defense, monitoring integrity of data imported in property tax software, internal reporting, and tracking of property taxes and monitoring legislative updates.• Manage, train and lead property tax seniors, analysts and clerks (12 total).• Establish and maintain procedures for timely filing of renditions, review of taxable value notices, and timely payment of tax bills, customer property tax billings, and customer service property taxation inquiries.• Review and approve business personal property renditions, work with outside consultants regarding real property protests and abatement negotiations.• Managed implementation project for PTMS, property tax software.• Responsible for US and Canadian Unclaimed Property compliance.
