I am dedicated to increasing access and opportunity for linguistically and culturally gifted students and academic language learners (ALLs) by supporting educators through professional learning, transforming teaching and learning practices, and re-imagining school systems and policies.I believe that to improve outcomes for linguistically and culturally diverse students and academic language learners; we must help every educator, not only language specialists, get to know their students and support their academic language development in conjunction with content learning.I have developed and presented high-quality professional development experiences for educators at all levels in districts and schools nationwide.
