As an Intro to Digital Media Course Instructor, I teach a course where students learn how to select story ideas, interview a diverse array of experts, and develop a series of short videos using basic camera equipment and professional editing software. They also develop a fundamental understanding of video metrics for major social platforms.I also serve as a Capstone Advisor.

I pitched, investigated, reported, shot, and directed field shoots for original domestic stories for Vice News Tonight. I also wrote and directed the edit in post-production.

Led a focus group for a nonprofit called Cortico, a social technology company that uses human listening and machine learning to surface underheard voices within communities. In doing so, I facilitated a 120-minute conversation within the Cambridge Police Department to address issues about how immigrant communities are policed.

I produced longform documentaries and shortform breaking news stories under the News and Documentary Team’s digital news format. Part of my job included strategizing story development from ideation to completion and managing contract videographers in pre-production, production, and post-production.

I supervised team of video producers and helped to formulate the direction of their ideas from the pitch stage through completion. I also initiated and designed workflow organization through digital programs to coordinate projects between teams.

Founding member of a daily business show on Facebook Watch called Business Insider Today, where we accumulated anywhere between 1 million to 4 million views for each video produced (during a 4-day viewing period). I developed budget parameters for selected projects and constantly pitched feature story ideas.

I created social-first lifestyle videos on Facebook/YouTube/ Instagram/web all while accumulating an average of 44 million views a month on Facebook. I launched and maintained the “How It’s Made” series by constantly testing new ideas. Part of my role included managing content curation for INSIDER Design’s Instagram account (600K+ followers).

At CBS, I worked alongside Feature Producers to gather sources, scout locations, and help produce stories for the morning show. Overnight, I would manage the curation and production of viral video content for show’s final block. At Newspath, I compiled list of financial and business-oriented stories for a 4:30pm and. 3:30am.
