With over 25 years in the Industry, Marisa has held different positions: (Start Up & Regulatory Affairs, CRA, Project Management and Associate Director) in both Contract Research Organizations and Pharmaceutical Companies.She started with the setup of the local branch of a small-sized CRO focused on Oncology, -with Headquarters in Paris, France-as Clinical Trial Assistant and Clinical Research Associate. Two years later she joined Novartis Argentina where she continued developing herself in Regulatory Affairs. Five years later, Marisa was offered the position of Start-Up Manager for Argentina and Uruguay at PAREXEL International S.A.Late 2008 -and to gain experience in Early Phases- Marisa was appointed by ACLIRES Argentina (a CRO with an Early Phase Pharmacology Unit researching in Liver Disease and HIV) as Project Manager and Quality Assurance Associate. In September 2010 one of the main projects being carried out by ACLIRES was transferred to KLIXAR Argentina S.R.L. and Marisa kept her role as Project Manager for the study for Latam countries (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico). In October 2012 she was offered the role of Planning and Strategic Manager for LATAM Region by a local CRO with Regional reach (Argentina, Peru, Columbia & Mexico).In September 2015, Marisa was hired by Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd.,Tel Aviv, Israel, as Project Manager for Latam countries (Argentina, Chile, Peru, Mexico) position she kept until July 2022. In parallel, as of April 2019, she was hired part-time by an Italian company, Zambon Spa, as Country Manager for Argentina, USA, and Canada, to oversee clinical operations and the CRO activities in these countries.In August 2022, Marisa joined OncoPrecision SAU, an Argentinian start up with offices in New York, as Clinical Project Manager, based in Buenos Aires.Currently working for PSI-CRO S.R.L. as a Senior CRA (Freelance).
