System I Professional Services Manager
Current- Manage a department which delivers consulting, implementation, and training services to System i customer-base of approx. 2,000 in size (responsibilities include but not limited to staffing department, running day-to-day operations of department, performing annual reviews, generating monthly reports for financial purposes, handling of customers with very strict demands, developing annual budget).- Evaluate scope of each customer project and then assign project to Professional Services Consultant possesses the corresponding skill set needed to bring project to completion.- Develop and maintain training programs for new and existing products.- Meet customer project deadlines by traveling up to 75% during peak time to customer sites to provide consulting, implementation, and/or training services on a System i-based document management software package and Windows-based content management application.- Escalate software issues to Support and/or Development Department which cannot be addressed by software functionality.
