Worked in an evolutionary genetics lab under PI Dr. Paul Schmidt. Research focused on elucidating the effect of the couch potato gene on reproductive diapause, ageing, and other life history traits in fruit flies. Techniques included fly husbandry, dissections, and stress and mortality tests.
