As TTC Advisor at Kasungu Teachers' Training College I work together with the principal, deputy principal, heads of departments and lecturers to improve the quality of the college based first year and the field based second year.

Training head teachers, teachers, school management committees and parent teacher associations in the five approaches of child friendly schools, focusing on improving quality of education and school infrastructure. Literacy (phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency, reading comprehension and vocabulary) is a key theme in my work. Findings from my research report 'Kusambira kwizira mumasebero' (2010) have been presented to the Malawi Institute of Education and included in the new curriculum materials for Chichewa and English for standards 1 and 2.
