Managed 10 web developers and their growth and hired web developers, data engineers and quality engineers.

In a telecommunications operator with thousands of employees, I launched 6 teams and facilitated a structured set of meetings with executives to launch more teams and streamline their planning and execution processes. The framework of choice was the McKinsey version of the Spotify model with teams being Squads of Tribes and myself working mainly as the Agile Coach next to the Tribe Leader. Team morale surveys demonstrated that I had gained the trust of both team members and executives.

In 2019 I launched 6 agile teams between UK and Hong Kong in an organization of around 1500 people and since then I coach the teams, their Scrum Masters and the management team of these teams. I have multiple stakeholders from different budgeting schemes and we all eventually agreed that a common governance scheme is more efficient that the previous state. The change from previous state to current state has led to:1. these 6 agile teams being the highest performing teams in 2021 among 36 teams2. more informed decisions due to more transparency3. less handoffs between engineers4. less communication gaps between Product Managers and engineers, even though there always areas for improvement.

Improved Developer Experience (DX) with:1. faster build of docker images2. faster launch of docker containers3. introduced unit testing and integration testing rails+emberJS4. streamlined continuous integration through a template for Dockerfile and Jenkinsfile and a common process for all current/future code repositories

Introducing CI to developers using gitflow and training manual testers on cucumber (hiptest).Writing end to end tests and integration tests in:Java, Groovy, mavenGeb, selenium, vaadin testbench

Created a python framework based on cucumber, selenium, django and REST calls used daily by about 10 manual testers and Jenkins.Wrote unit tests (with test doubles), documentation and learning material for framework users (testers), devops and developers.Planned Jira tickets for software delivery and bug reporting in a well structured process, trained and led a distributed team of 3 persons.

Extended and maintained the Siebel product catalog (for telcos) and its integration with BUS in Oracle eScript and soapUI

Created prototypes in python, user studies and analysis in R at the innovation lab chili.epfl.chMember of a standardization committee of The Open Group (for IoT) while being at licpwww.epfl.ch

Designed an integration engine in C++ and python as a proof of concept correct-by-construction technique. This led to a best paper award at the international conference on software composition, co-authored with Professor Joseph Sifakis recipient of the Turing Award 2007.
