- When assigned to the COVID-19 testing site, effectively manage the COVID-19 testing patient check-in process from start to finish to include identification verification, update, or confirm demographic and insurance information, and ensure appropriate COVID-19 testing registration forms are provided and completed accurately- Screen for eligibility, financial assistance and add appropriate COVID-19 coverage to ensure the COVID-19 vaccination or testing is provided at no out-of-pocket expense to patients- Ensures patient information is placed into the Electronic Health Record accurately and in a timely manner to ensure efficiency and meet reporting requirements for COVID-19 vaccinations or testing.- Responds to customer billing and payment inquiries on an as needed basis regarding COVID-19 vaccinations and testing. May escalate billing issues as needed and provide resources for patients regarding COVID-19 vaccinations or testing- Perform general clerical duties related to COVID-19 vaccinations or testing, i.e., scanning information, tracking data, receiving, and sorting correspondence and packages in an accurate and efficient manner- Performs other duties as assigned related to COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinic registration process or COVID-19 scheduling-First point of contact in greeting and directing Covid 19 patients for testing or vaccines

- Maintain a positive and safe atmosphere- Be part of a humanitarian effort. The Youth Care Worker will monitor and supervise children who are temporarily in the care of a governmental organization.- Acts as a liaison with government and other support agencies tasked with direct care of the children to ensure that the children receive effective and quality care at all times.- Provide indirect, observational support for youth at San Diego County Convention Center Partner with support agencies to ensure youth receive effective and quality care at all times- Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service-partner protected health information and other applicable information and material in accordance to agency and center polices, and applicable regulations and laws including HIPAA

- Respond to a high volume of incoming faxes, calls, emails and identify how best to process- Data entry, clerical and secretarial- Process and document calls in appropriate tracking systems, and handle/escalate calls- Conduct insurance verifications to understand if patient's prescribed therapy is eligible for coverage- Process and review patient applications and follow the program's specifications to determine their eligibility- Place follow up calls and respond to enquiries from patients and/or healthcare providers as necessary - Be familiar with the market place and the insurance options available for patients- Assist with training new members by shadowing/ reverse shadowing them and serving as a data checker by reviewing data entered in the program's tracking system
