A strong foundation in the management of premature and sick neonates was attained. Strong knowledge in ventilator management using Avea Ventilator, Sensormedics oscillator, and Bunnell high frequency jet ventilator. Knowledgeable in various CPAP systems including Nasal Cannula IMV, Infant Flow Sipap and Bubble CPAP. Proficient in neonatal resuscitation including intubation skills. Knowledge in administrating respiratory medications including the administration of surfactant to premature infants and indications for use of INO therapy in the neonate.

As a registry RT in the NICU, I provide quality therapy working as a part of the respiratory team or individually, meeting the hospital needs. Duties include respiratory management of premature or sick neonates, including intubation, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, CPAP, medication administration, ABG draw and analysis, and attending high risk deliveries and c-sections.

As part of the respiratory team in a Level III NICU, duties included ventilator management, oxygen therapy, administration of respiratory medications, and attending high risk deliveries and c-sections. Training and experience was attained in Pediatric ICU. Duties included ventilator management, medication administration, percussion therapy, and ETT management of the pediatric patient.
