• Provides administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources such as Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits or Professional Development• Process Personnel actions in PeopleSoft/ResumeWare or other software and prepare documentation• Answers routine employee inquiries, and refers complex questions to appropriate human resource staff • Create and maintain internal and external requisitions, locate ideal candidates and effectively fill positions• High volume recruiting and processing • Screening and scheduling candidates for interviews, communicate with candidates on status of application, create offer letters and maintain schedule• Coordinate and participate in job fairs• Coordinate advertising efforts• Make employment recommendations based on information gathered through prescreen, interview, and evaluate resumes for other positions as requested by HR manager• Conduct background checks forward results to hiring manager• Advise candidates of background check results and disposition• Prepare new hire orientation packages and other related documents• Prepare and send employment verifications• Process employment verifications for loans and unemployment claims• Develop and update various reports, logs and spreadsheets• Perform clerical tasks such as copying, faxing, filing, word processing, and data entry.• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all tasks
