Hi! I am Maris, and I am currently a Show Set Designer at Universal Creative. With more than nine years of experience in the themed entertainment industry as a Show Set Designer, an Associate Engineering Manager for Universal Creative, a Technical Designer, and a Project Design Lead for different theme entertainment vendors, I have developed a strong foundation in the Industry. I hold an MFA in Themed Entertainment Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Innovation and Design with a Specialization in Advanced Manufacturing Systems from the Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico. My professional journey is driven by a deep passion for what I do and, most importantly, the excitement of seeing guests' reactions while experiencing the stories we build for them. I am always eager to explore new horizons and take on new challenges. My organizational skills, efficiency, and resourcefulness make me a solid creative problem-solver. I am known for my attention to detail, determination, and adaptability, which allow me to bring a fresh perspective to this ever-changing Industry.
